Odd fit right at the waist, otherwise great!
There's currently two other reviews about the sizing, I would agree with the woman who said there's a bulk of fabric right at the hip. I am usually a medium (8), maybe a small in something like this with a stretchy waist however because of the bulk right below the waistband I actually preferred how the large looked on me because the fabric fell in a way that was more flattering. Benefit of the stretchy waistband is that it still fits fine and doesn't fall down, worst case scenario I can always alter the stretchy band to fit me better because the skirt is so cute!
Would definitely recommend going in store to try on what looks best on you.

Wasn't for me, sadly!
I tried this skirt on in store today. I really wanted to love it but it excentuated my hips badly. I usually wear a medium at Rickis but I tried on a small hoping there would be less fabric around the hip section, nope! I still looked wider.

Flattering and comfortable
I bought this a couple weeks ago, I’m a medium and bought the small because I’m in between sizes. This skirt is stunning and so, so comfortable. I get tons of compliments when I where it. The colours are beautiful, so many options on tops you can pair with as well. Easily the best purchase I’ve made at Ricki’s in a long time.

Really wanted to love it!
I bought this online in a medium at the beginning of summer and was so excited for it to arrive. It's a beautiful piece of clothing that is well made with lovely fabric.
The problem lies in the extra wide elastic that sits right where it will fold in half when you sit down.
unfortunately this has ruined my love of this skirt. After awhile that fold gets very uncomfortable and you just want to change into something else.
The fabric and flow are wonderful and the colour is so pretty and summery but I can only see myself wearing this if I won't need to sit down for any length of time. This could be solved with a narrower elastic at the waist or having it sit just a little lower or higher on the body.

Amazing!
Great style, true to size, really long, I’m 5’11” and it’s close to ankle length. Gorgeous fabric, lined with pockets! Love it, the colour is awesome in pink and the little top that goes with makes an amazing dress!
