      Rated 1 out of 5 by from wish i loved them... I wanted to love these jeans so badly because I miss the jeans that Rickis used to carry. I am sorry to say that they were a "miss" for me. The denim was thick and heavy, there was a definite gap in the back of the waist and there was little technology to help tuck in my tummy. If anything, these jeans accentuated my tummy and made it look rounder and stick out more. I tried on the bootcut and flare LRJ jeans as well and the sizing was so off. The size 8 "fit" in the skinny but was WAY too tight in the bootcut and flare. I am so disappointed and sad that my beloved jeans are no longer sold and that I have not yet been able to find a replacement for them.

      Rated 1 out of 5 by from Inconsistent fit- consistency in disappointment I wanted to love these jeans but there are issues that will see me returning the two pairs I bought. Ordered usual size in midnight and black. One pair I could barely pull up and fasten. Should I bend over unnecessary exposure is likely to occur. Second pair was very different, pulled up past my belly button and was able to button and zipper effortlessly- however they feel too long in the rise and had too much extra material in that area. Overall was excited because of the feel and overall look but the inconsistency in fit- particularly when I pulled out same size, similar fit from last year and the difference is uncomfortably noticeable.

      Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wouldn’t recommend I’ve worn the democracy jeans for years, they were absolutely my favourite. These jeans are uncomfortable as the denim is so stiff, I’ve even washed them over and over to try to soften them. They just aren’t comfortable jeans and the fit actually seems to make my tummy stick out, not flattering on me. I miss the democracy jeans!

The dark wash gives it a dressier look and pair it with a blazer and you have a trendy little outfit. The custom fit waist with the comfort band inside gives no waist gap. They are mid rise and fitted through the thigh to show off your shape. I love how they are ankle length which is great for me being 5’3. These jeans are super soft, comfortable and are now added to my Jean collection. I love a new pair of Ricki’s jeans!

I ordered skinny jeans and even though they were labeled skinny they fit more like straight leg and were baggy. The waiste was ok but Democracy were the best jeans I've owned. These were just poorly designed.

      Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable We recently tried on all the jeans in the store and I really liked this style they are not super tight like the jeggings and on myself almost fit like the girlfriend jeans with no rips. They are fitted but not tight in the thigh and calf even though I have larger calf’s (knee is a little looser then I would like) but they are so comfortable I could work In these everyday!! Waist is comfortable and I went down a size to my normal size and the elastic in that waist is soft and I barely feel it.

I have slender legs and basically no bum. I have ordered four more pairs so I can wear nothing but these jeans. I absolutely love them! Well worth the money,

      Rated 1 out of 5 by from NOT Skinny, TOO High Rise, Crying for Democracy I'm so desperately missing the Democracy jeans Ricki's carried. They used to fit like a glove, perfect stretch and 1000% comfortable on the first wear. I have found all the Ricki's pants are now high waisted. Perhaps it's the trend, but for those of us with larger bums, the high waisted pants (ESPECIALLY JEANS) feel bulky, with extra fabric and way WAY too high. I mean, I've tried like 8 pairs of these over the past year and some and all of them are over my belly button by far. All that extra material is bulky and unflattering, let alone uncomfortable. For a minute I try to convince myself to "adopt" this "trend", but I am at the age where I cannot sacrifice comfort. The Democracy jeans had the perfect rise and were soft. These are stiff and unflattering. Also, NOT a skinny. Please please please Ricki's bring back some options - mid-rise or some Democracy styles to help "flatter all body types."
