It is what I would call a coatigan really because it is thicker than a regular sweater...somewhere between coagtigan and cardigan. It is true to size but on the larger end...I am M in tops but always S in cardigans, I got the S and it is plenty roomy. It is a longer length on me at 5'2" and the sleeves are very long but that doesn't bother me, I can push them up or cuff them. The colour is rich and deep, not bright. This cardigan is great for shopping in cooler weather when you don't want to wear a coat in the mall.

I'm not sure if it's the lack of collar, material type, or loose boxy style. I'm going to see about altering it to look less cat lady attire, but somehow I still don't hate it either. Not currently something I feel like I can wear into work though.
