I carry the green purse from Ricki's with it and it makes the green in the dress pop. The empire waist is flattering on my body type since I don't really have a define waist. I did size down so it wasn't so baggy fitting. I wear smalls and mediums at this store depending on what it is and I bought a small in this. I'm 5'8' and the length on me is exactly as pictured on the model. You definitely need a tan bra with this or the top is see through. I love this dress and would recommend it.

The wrist elastic is way too loose and I'd have to shove them up past my elbows to wear, otherwise they simply hang halfway onto my hands. I'd be constantly shoving them up.

I didn't have time to try it on in the store so i took it home. usually when I buy things from Ricki's they always look awesome, just by looking at the product and not even trying it on, however this time I was sadly disappointed. it looked like crap on my when i got it home. it looked so cute on the hanger. maybe someone with a different body type it might look better. It just wasn't for me.
