Rated 3 out of 5 by ktwpg from Not for me. I should know better than to buy anything but Democracy jeans. I am usually a 6 or an 8, lately an 8 in Democracy, so I got an 8 in these. First of all they are quite a heavy denim, not soft and not particularly stretchy. But they were kind of big, I might have been able to fit a six better. The loose leg didn’t bother me but they were baggy in the crotch and bum. But what I really didn’t like was that they were so high waisted, almost to my bust. And I have a long torso, but I am only 5’2”. I’m sure a different body type might love them. I think what I will do in order to get a straight leg cropped Jean is to buy another pair of the democracy straight legs and cut them down myself, because they have an amazing fit.
