Canadian Women's Foundation is Canada's first and only national public foundation for women and girls. The Foundation is dedicated to preventing violence against women, building the self-esteem of girls and helping low-income women out of poverty.
In order to help women out of poverty, the Foundation funds programs for low-income women that provide self-employment training, skills development and direct employment.
